Architectural Visualisations

CGI is a cost-effective communication tool for housing developers, property marketing and interior designers. Working from elevations and material samples our in-house team can construct a set of photorealistic images that accurately represent a space before construction starts. This creates perfect marketing collateral to help build interest and sell off-plan.

Location, scale and context impose no restrictions as we work with developers to show the visual impact of a space and its surroundings with detailed architecture and textures. Multiple shots of a spaces can be taken, be it day or night, exterior or interior to give a true feel of a development.

Our vast library of materials makes transforming an ordinary space into an environment of carefully considered interior design at the simple click of the mouse. The CGI artists add in slight imperfections to ensure our CGI images truly are representative of reality from textured copper to the lustre of marble.

Another advantage of CGI is the animation walk-through service we offer. This is great to help prospective buyers understand the scale of a plot and recognise how the space will work for them. Trending- Deep Inky Blues

silver deep blue interior design bedroom cosy2

This year we have been working with blue shades through a range of products and trends, it’s safe to say we know how to take that colour tone in many directions. Opting for a darker shade in a space adds drama and impact, but with the right lighting it can also be made to feel warm and cosy.

Keep it fresh

blue and white shaker kitchen living room wall painted

Mix and match cabinets is another way to keep the look fresh and not go down the moody hues look. Copper key features such as tap design works with this colour.

Don’t want to darken a room too much? The same effect can be achieved by painting halfway up a wall as in this living room. You can still get the impact whilst keeping it fresh.

Take it moody

Dark blues work particularly well in classic, panelled interiors such as period properties with grand fireplaces and dramatic, high ceilings. This space can carry colour!

The kitchen (above) has dramatic, dusky blue cupboards which are on-trend this year. We’ve designed several sets for deep blue kitchens so keep an eye out. You can either go deep and moody, or add bold colour to offset the blue.

The driving force behind CGI animation

Set Visions Motion department creates video content that sells. Our creative team of art directors, videographers and CGI animators work together across multiple disciplines to produce informative and instructional videos suitable for web, instore and social media.

This latest animation had to answer two specific briefs. The first was to work with and without sound to be an informative selling tool to be shown in store to trade and public. The second use is social media, illustrating brand style with instructional use. Our project manager worked closely with the client to present the story board, gain product knowledge and coordinate Set Vision’s in-house team.

Trending New Nordic Naturals

pendnat light lamp studio photography scandinavian

This year has seen natural materials coming to the forefront of interior design and homeware design.
Soft, light bleached woods, with natural wood grain running throughout.
New Nordic Naturals is all about the fresh natural aesthetic within design.
Wood cladding and feature wall pieces are undoubtedly coming back. There’s also a strong stylised reappearance of wooden cabinets in kitchen design, but with more up to date tones such as the lighter Nordic hues.

Natural wood 'shelfies'
Shelfies trend textured woods
Natural wood can be brought in to a room in various ways. For instance, using tiles and wood flooring as a room base. Mix up the tonal woods with wooden propping and weathered textures for contrast.

Exposed shelving is still hugely on trend, I’m sure you’ve seen ‘shelfie’ posts on social media. Style up your wooden shelving with tonal propping and textures, and include a few plants for a natural green touch.

Feature cladding

Bathrooms for 2017-18 are certainly getting more attention, often the last place to get a thoughtful makeover. Why not try the light wood tones here? Such as this design using wood tiles to create a feature wall. Perfectly offsetting the white ceramics in the room.

Just go for it! With this kitchen design we went for it with the bleached wood tones. Using it on the floor and walls to create a serene, flowing space. Propping kept muted and stylised with whites and light greys, plus hints of wood which evokes that Scandinavian touch.

Marketing Case Study

Set Visions creates visual content that works successfully across various social media platforms, print and marketing. This allows our clients to successfully run their marketing campaigns with seamless supporting print publications.

A long-standing client challenged us to create a fresh new approach to their brand imagery. They wanted to step away from their traditional ‘trade’ style brochure and to create images that inspire and captivate the end consumer instead.

Our in-house interior designer wanted to include architectural details with a realistic sized bathroom to bring the traditional pottery suite to life. Homely touches were added through tactile props, adding to the lifestyle feel without detracting the focus from the product.

The CGI team created supporting photorealistic detail shots, pushing the creative feel through camera and composition. These shots not only cross sell products but also promote the aspirational lifestyle that can be achieved with this pottery and interior design scheme.

These images are perfect for lifestyle brochures, original blog content and will be used as promotional images on aspirational interiors design sites such as Pinterest and Houzz. For more info and to see our portfolio work for both CGI and Photography visit setvisions.co.uk.

Trending-Statement feature walls

bedroom tile inspiration

Feature walls are back with impact. Moving on from the simple effects of wallpaper and paint, designers are thinking outside the box and using different materials to add colour and texture to create real wow factor in interior spaces.

Tiles are a great way to make a statement and bring character to a room. Typically seen in the bathroom and kitchen, but a tiled chimney breast in a living room or a tiled headboard in a bedroom is a much more adventurous use and adds interest with a dramatic focal point.

Playful patterns

tiles decor set visions

The splash back tiles on this kitchen wall is a fun way to add colour and pattern. Also, placing vertically instead of horizontally is a refreshing alternative. This design would make even more of a statement if used in a living or dining space.

Combining multiple materials is another way to personalise a wall, or in this case, a floor. The zig zag design works well to divide up the space and zone areas. With open-plan living this would also work on walls to separate and outline the different spaces.

Luxury touch

bathroom inspiration set visions

A luxurious Grecian them has been achieved in this spacious bathroom with an impactful mosaic which looks like a huge marble sculpture from a distance.

For those with a passion for plants, why not bring the outside into the home with a vertical garden or living wall? Used here in a concrete wet room, it adds a vibrant jungle feel to the space.
