CGI is a fantastic tool to visualise
concepts and ideas -
a recent project saw us take this one step further with our CGI team designing
and testing kitchen room sets which were then built and filmed for TV in
long-standing client called upon our expertise in set design,
architecture and product knowledge to design two kitchens. The room sets had to sit alongside the new
brochure imagery we’ve developed with Wickes, ensuring concepts were on trend
and realistic to a family home.
Starting with the design concepts we then created floor
plans, artist’s impressions and 3D renders of the space. CGI renders are a tremendous visual tool for
communicating with on-site builders, stylists and directors ensuring the art
direction is on track before production begins.
The visualisation possibilities are endless, recent projects
have seen us design engaging visuals for exhibitions, hotel developments and
shop fits. See how Set Visions can help

CGI is a cost-effective communication tool for
housing developers, property marketing and interior designers.Working from elevations and material samples
our in-house team can construct a set of photorealistic images that accurately
represent a space before construction starts. This creates perfect marketing collateral to help build interest and
Location, scale and context impose no restrictions as we work
with developers to show the visual impact of a space and its surroundings with
detailed architecture and textures. Multiple
shots of a spaces can be taken, be it day or night, exterior or interior to
give a true feel of a development.
Our vast library of materials makes transforming an ordinary
space into an environment of carefully considered interior design at the simple
click of the mouse. The CGI artists add in slight
imperfections to ensure our CGI images truly are representative of reality from
textured copper to the lustre of marble.
Another advantage of CGI is the animation walk-through

year we have been working with blue shades through a range of products and
trends, it’s safe to say we know how to take that colour tone in many
directions. Opting for a darker shade in a space adds drama and impact,
but with the right lighting it can also be made to feel warm and cosy.
Keep it fresh
Mix and match cabinets is another way to keep the look fresh
and not go down the moody hues look. Copper key features such as tap
design works with this colour.
Don’t want to darken a room too much? The same effect can be
achieved by painting halfway up a wall as in this living room. You can still
get the impact whilst keeping it fresh.
Take it moody
Dark blues work particularly well in classic, panelled
interiors such as period properties with grand fireplaces and dramatic, high
ceilings. This space can carry colour!
The kitchen (above) has dramatic, dusky blue cupboards which
are on-trend this year. We’ve designed several sets for deep blue kitchens so
keep an eye out. You can either go deep and moody, or add bold colour to offset
Visions Motion department creates video content that sells. Our
creative team of art directors, videographers and CGI animators work together
across multiple disciplines to produce informative and instructional videos
suitable for web, instore and social media.
This latest animation had to answer two specific briefs. The first was
to work with and without sound to be an informative selling tool to be shown in
store to trade and public. The second use is social media, illustrating brand
style with instructional use. Our project manager worked closely with the
client to present the story board, gain product knowledge and coordinate Set
Vision’s in-house team.
Our Motion graphic designs are crucial to momentum and timing of this
informative video - key straplines are strategically timed illustrating primary
benefits of the product. The animated CGI video was designed to be easily
adapted. By updating the product and key strap lines to fit similar items in
the product line we have created a cost-effective solution for our client.

Our inhouse stylists
are always keen to establish trend lead styling on any project. With the
recent launch of a new glass splashbacks range our stylists were challenged to
design images that sit within Laura Ashley’s signature brand look that have a
tangible lifestyle feel.
Each splashback image had to sit within specific style
houses that appeal to their key core customers. Our team of CGI artists worked
closely with our designers to create photorealistic textures and props such as
rustic exposed brickwork, even CGI bread! Our designs were critiqued and signed off by Laura Ashley ensuring our
images hit the creative lifestyle brief.
The images are now being used in both print and across
multiplatform social media sites. For more Pinterest worthy portfolio work
