By offering both photography and CGI under one roof Set Visions produce effective marketing solutions supporting our clients’ goals. To help increase Otty’s online sales, one of our long-standing Photography clients requested our CGI team create an animated explosion of their product.
This realistic product rendering demonstrates the technical design inside the mattress whilst illustrating the aesthetic of the overall design. This affective render brings to life an otherwise flat image, that in turn increased the commercial appeal of the product. As Otty exclusively sell online this not only increases product exposure, the video will also help the all-important Google rankings.
This product video supports the ongoing lifestyle photography that our Capture team are creating for the client. These have a great editorial feel which are perfect for Pinterest and Instagram. Check out the Pinterest worthy project our team created for Otty here.
Technical explosions can be applied to any industry, especially those who have engineering hidden away. To discuss how product explosions can help exposure of your product contact firstname.lastname@example.org or call on 01274610600.

Clerkenwell Design Week is an award-winning innovative

industry. Nina, our head of Styling,
made her annual trip to research and absorb key design insights and
developments for the creative community.

passing on our industry knowledge to your photography so your bespoke content
is on trend and hits the right brochure and marketing platforms. We also produce commissioned Trend Reports for

With the trend for wellbeing growing in strength the emotive
topic is well established with the design world. Environmentally conscious design encourages
designers and consumers to take responsibility with recycled materials such as

A recent project completed for one of our long-standing
clients saw our Project Management team seamlessly coordinate the logistics of
our CGI team, Interior stylists, Models, Photographic studio team and post
production. The result is a set of 14
images that are perfect for brochure and social media content.
Our stylist worked directly with Fabric Box marketing team
to understand the design concepts behind their fabric designs and product
range. Together they designed the unique
environments with our team making sure the interior design trends, the CG architectural
detailing and propping supported their product; ensuring the focus is on the
contemporary blind designs.
The second phase of the project was to select and photograph
models in our in-house photographic studio. These were then edited together by
our post production specialists, resulting in ultra-real CGI images. Shooting models interacting with CGI props can
be a technical challenge. As our
production team strive for photoreal images they ensured the technique was

Last year we saw this trend coming… and for our clients who have a stylish, trend led eye we’ve been able to feature elements of Terrazzo textures and replicate the playful tones with shades through wall colours, props and surfaces.
Our favourite terrazzo sample at the office inspired our own Creative Meeting Room and influenced one of our latest photography shots. We used the soft and playful mixed hues for a fresh and distinctive set design, mixing greens and pinks.
Here the custom table features a more muted terrazzo which is made from recycled materials. This is another draw to using the sustainable surface, a key value to the Set Visions design team.
There’s plenty of amazing terrazzo worktops and in recent design shows we’ve seen some stunning kitchens showing off with it. Here we used a matt pastel kitchen fascia for that cool contemporary look.
Fabrics and colour palette
We have seen plenty coming through in the last year with terrazzo pattern prints on fabric now. Here we upholstered a foot stool with the print.
When working with the terrazzo of choice it’s a good idea to try paint samples and fabric samples out against the texture to see how the colours work as a group. Here we demonstrated balance and tone though texture and composition.

As a market
leader in Photorealistic CGI, Set Visions is no stranger to Total Chaos. The Vray 3D rendering software is renowned within the
industry allowing users to pretty much visualise anything! The recent convention attracted global
delegates including our own home grown, Technical Manager, Danny Austin. The
diverse programme kept Danny immersed in VR and the architecture industry, with
V Ray tools allowing us to sharpen the 3D modelling process and walkthroughs.
Our very own, rather flabbergasted, Danny had the
opportunity to meet some of the heroes of the industry and scooping the top
prize in the Rendering Challenge; Chaos Group setup a selection of content and
challenged the delegates to plan, compose and render visuals within in 30
“The technology advances were exceptionally interesting to learn
more about, but one thing certainly caught my attention - how maintaining a
balance between work and life was the key to succeeding in the long-term
without burning out.
I drew parallels to that and appreciated the excellent
environment that I work in. The Set
Visions team work together for a single goal and help each other when help is
needed. This is not the case everywhere
and appreciate that with a fresh perspective.
I think it is the reason that creativity can co-exist with commerce in a

Long gone the days of pink for girls and blue for boys, shades of dusk pink are hotter than ever, seen in both commercial and residential interiors everywhere. It’s a versatile tone to compliment other colours beautifully making it a great colour to work with.
We’ve collated some of our latest work where shades of dusk pink have brought the interiors to life.
Block colour and
FabricsOn this conceptual product shot we used flashes of dusk pink alongside coral to really make the free-standing baths stand out. Not only does the colour make this shot look great it also gives inspiration to the consumer for their own bathroom colour palette.
Dull office spaces no more. Shades of grey, pink and mauve give this work space a contemporary edge. These colours compliment the soft edges and fabrics used making the space inviting yet maintaining a professional feel.
Go soft or dusky pinkStatement moody dusk pink tiles are the key design feature in this hotel suite turning a simple dividing wall into a design feature. As well as having aesthetic properties this design also gives an identity to the hotel making it unique.
With the Scandi trend still going strong seeing dusk pink sits hand in hand with this trend both creating a soft, calming environment. White painted walls, light oak flooring and furniture, hints of grey all finished off by subtle tones of the soft pink elements.
