The
Pix Team
Working with leading manufacturers, marketing teams and integrated
agencies, the Pix creative team produce content that’s perfect for print,
online and PR. This has resulted in many of our images being featured in
established magazines and Sunday supplements. Our in-house team consists of CGI
artists, stylists, interior designers, photographers, project managers and
post-production art workers.

As we’re gearing up for the festive period here at set Visions we’d like to let you know we’ll be hanging up the clogs on Friday 21st of December and returning raring to go on Wednesday 2nd of January 2019.
For a little festive inspiration, we thought we’d show off one of our favourite CGI projects of late. Created with an editorial feel and specifically designed for glossy magazine promotions, this English-meets-Scandi shot has a tangible modern rustic feel. The promotional image is inspired by the infamous hygge trend - with weathered wood and rich mauves bringing richness and a real Christmas charm.

Our experienced CGI Project Mangers work with
agencies, marketing teams and product managers delivering photorealistic
renders on time, to brief and to budget. Approached by a Manchester agency our CG team
were asked to produce a set of bespoke kitchen designs that showcased the new
range cookers for Stoves.
The key brief to Set Visions creative team was realism,
natural lighting, lifestyle and product focus. Shoot The Moon wanted our
images to deliver their concept and illustrate the lifestyle the Stoves
products offers. Our CGI had to sit
alongside Shoot The Moon’s in-house studio photography, supporting the
marketing strategy they specifically designed.
The above images were created specifically for the web,
designed to be used as a split screen.
These were secondary shots, taken in the same scene as the main
images. CGI is easily adaptable -
meaning product changes or camera angles can be addressed at any point, saving time and
money on set build compared to traditional photography.
A cost-effective benefit for this project was having the
manufacturing CAD files provided. This
eliminated our modelling costs and saved the supplier the hefty delivery of two
large range cookers. All our supplied 3D files are treated very sensitively,
with an NDA available for all our clients.
It’s fantastic to see the images used seamlessly with Shoot
The Moon’s foodie photography highlighting CGI has great advantages, with

The Set Visions creative team have been
busy joining forces, producing Photography and CGI imagery for our global
client which is bespoke, hand crafted and truly unique. Our multi-skilled team’s creative vision translates
across both specialist mediums ensuring our CGI and Photography images are
perfectly in parallel and on form. By using
both disciplines we delivered the project within budget without compromising
quality.
Lincrusta recently approached the team with a fantastic challenge to create
editorial content that relies on our Photography studio’s realism and attention
to detail whilst exploiting CGI’s ability to render photorealistic architecture
and location. By using the same product
in both studios we’ve created imaginative product images that do just that!
The styling direction
was overseen by our Head of Creative, with our Photography Studio manager
keeping a keen eye on the CGI output.
Each
deeply embossed paper design is printed blank and applied to the walls ready
for the hand painted finish, meaning every fitting is truly bespoke. A great advantage of working with CGI means
our teams can re-use 3D assets to easily create alternative images. Below is an
example of using the previously created Tropical Leaf paper and combining it
with the Trellis, for a coastal take on the designs.

2017 was a fantastic
year for Pix. Our talented in-house
team delivered hundreds of stylish visual solutions for our clients, and we’re incredibly

product shots our updated portfolio demonstrates our adaptive path in each
project. Tricky deadlines and
challenging briefs excite our team, and our flexible cost saving approach to

Our inhouse stylists
are always keen to establish trend lead styling on any project. With the
recent launch of a new glass splashbacks range our stylists were challenged to
design images that sit within Laura Ashley’s signature brand look that have a
tangible lifestyle feel.
Each splashback image had to sit within specific style
houses that appeal to their key core customers. Our team of CGI artists worked
closely with our designers to create photorealistic textures and props such as
rustic exposed brickwork, even CGI bread!
Our designs were critiqued and signed off by Laura Ashley ensuring our
images hit the creative lifestyle brief.
The images are now being used in both print and across

A CGI project offers
both flexibility and consistency to any client. A simple change of wall colour or styling
update can create a fresh new feel to any pre-existing image. Perfect for product comparisons allowing simple,
uncluttered brochure layouts.
We take pride in our R&D department, constantly striving
to create fantastic photorealistic CGI images whilst reducing our production

with CGI bedding and rugs for all bedroom shots.
This enables us to update materials and patterns at a click
of a button without the timely wait for dressing beds and reshoots. Our in-house stylists keep a keen eye on the

sheet to a magazine curl.
