Do you need creative images of your product but don’t have
physical samples? Set Visions CGI is the answer.

One of our long standing CGI clients recently challenged our
Pix department to create striking concept renders that sit within their brand
guidelines.
The product designs have very precise technical
specifications which our 3D modelling team were able to recreate perfectly in
CGI. In this case physical samples of the product were unavailable so the team modelled
from technical drawings and used specific fabrics from our vast library.
Another benefit of CGI for this project is the ability to
update a fabric or finish with the click of a button, allowing us to create numerous
iterations without the added expense of manufacture and shipping.
The images support Bluespot’s Seating Collection targeted
marketing campaign and are successfully being used across print and media
platforms.

This trending look is all about the muted
metallic, mixing in a calm sophisticated way.
Last year, strong, bold copper took the high street by storm, but this
year we’ll see blush, muted copper mixing with calming golds. This look is all about
mixing metallics and harmoniously integrating with the interior design as trend
accent.
Mixing
metallics as a focal point

Every
room needs a focal point and within the bathroom which has to be the statement
bath. Why not get ahead of the rest with a brushed copper or gold bathtub. Offset it with a muted blush pink or grey
colour scheme to create a calming look.
Here is an example of the overall trend,
with blush pinks and light grey walls adding a softer approach to golds and
copper propping. Here mixing metallics in a subtle way can be seen with the
tile choice complementing the metallic propping.
Metallic
accent in the home

Within
kitchens it’s not just the accessories which hint metallics. The big trend
coming through uses metallic splashbacks which we will see more of in
2017. It’s a bold look we’ve seen in
bespoke kitchens, but look out for some new year contenders who are getting in
on the action with more affordable versions!
If large statement metallics are too much for your
sense of style why not try simple accessories of the mixed muted metallic
trend? A subtle way to add metallics to your home is by adding metals to parts
of the room always left until last for decorating, such as curtain poles. See
how these muted metals work together in complementary tones, work these across
the home.

As the nation falls in love with the Danish
‘Hygge’ home movement - if you have not heard of it yet well you will now - after
all, Denmark was voted one of the happiest places to live, and with this
philosophy in life we totally agree.
In essence ‘Hygge’ means creating a cosy, homely, warm atmosphere whilst
enjoying the good things in life with good people around you. Sit back and take in our trending guide whilst
enjoying a warming cup of tea, the perfect Scandinavian way.
Layering
textures
As the nights close in for these wintry months
it’s time to cozy up in thick, cable knit throws, add plenty of rustic charm
with baskets to store and accessorize - perfect for the cozy, rustic look.
Plenty of candles should adorn your ‘Hygge’ home,
creating a warm friendly feel. Lanterns are perfect, style them up in sizes to
create depth. Mix woods and chromes to get a modern/rustic feel.
Social
style
The living room is a social space that welcomes
the family and friends in for an evening of relaxation and quality times. It’s
key to echo that friendly feel with layered up cushions and throws for guests
to snuggle up on the sofa. Create a welcoming space with scented candles and a
good selection of coffee table books.
After an evening spent enjoying simple life
pleasures in your beautiful home, why not take a calming retreat to your
bedroom? Making this space ease you in
to rest with its deep atmospheric walls and subtle choice in lighting will
create a perfect space to snuggle up and read a book.

Set Visions photorealistic CGI is unique. We offer emotive,
accurate and persuasive imagery, giving your customer an aspirational glimpse
of a desirable lifestyle. Reliance of CG
visuals in the kitchen industry is ever increasing. Pix is Set Visions’ CGI department and we
relish the challenge and in an oversaturated market, it is time to offer your customers
something different.

Understanding the bigger picture
We understand the importance of customer trust and we understand
products by building relationships with clients. The kitchen facia is always at
the forefront of any kitchen design. Our creative team construct the image
using trend research, architectural references and realistic set design. They
produce an entire story based around the facia and develop customer personas to
ensure your target market can relate to the imagery on a social, economic or
geographical level. Engaging with your customer through true photorealistic
imagery will sway the purchase decision. Detail shots and cameos are perfect to
illustrate the craftsmanship of your product design.
Our set design and prop choices are carefully considered
with an extensive library to choose from, creating a bespoke look is easy.
Detailed mood boards are created directing the design, trend and art direction.
We relish the small details to make the bigger picture.
To get us started we just require a facia sample or drawings and a
colour swatch.
Supplier costs are dramatically reduced
as production is no longer delayed waiting for expensive samples to be
imported. The impact on the environment is minimal as wastage is slashed which
cannot be said for traditional set build and deconstruction.
The Set Visions CGI team is made up of a
great pool of talent from trained studio photographers, interior design trend
spotters to self-taught CGI masters. Our combined history and industry
knowledge is key to the consistency and precision of our renders.
