Here at
Set Visions, we create CGI cutaways to showcase the hidden engineering that is
concealed behind interior finishes within buildings. Capturing the first fix
can be tricky, which is why we accurately visualise the spatial designs for our
clients by combining photorealistic CGI with cutting edge web application
development. These accurate CGI renders can then be used to support planning applications,
marketing content or briefings to developers.

Here, we
completed a set of cutaway renders for one of the country’s biggest insulation
and specialist building materials suppliers. The fictional multistory was rendered
at multiple viewpoints, clearly demonstrating the integral first fix products
in context to the structure of the building, and in relation to the layout. Our
client has taken the content and added it to their interactive training app to
engage and educate their staff on their extensive product range.

Our
production team partner with developers ensure our renders are accurate to
elevations and the interior design pack. Specialising in external and internal
renderings, our photorealistic CGI services produce tangible marketing content for
commercial and domestic designs. We can fully dress, light and photograph
designs before a single spade goes in the ground, providing a fantastic scope
to engage with a wider target audience.

A long-standing client
recently approached the Pix team to join forces for a high-status pitch.

Our creative CGI department worked alongside Cardinal to create high quality visuals for the Manchester United store refit. The high
standard visuals gave the national company a strong portfolio to present,
establishing a competitive edge for the firm.
CGI is a great tool to test and develop product without the
added expense of singular manufacture. Combinations are limitless testing
material selection, product design and aesthetic details. Our in house
designers developed the spatial design factoring in multi-use point of sale,
architectural restrictions and how the space would visually look from a
distance.

We think the final refit result are a great success, why not
check out our architecture page on our new look website to see how our
renders can help strengthen client pitches and presentations.

We've been championing the Mixed Materials Trend during 2016
in a lot of our Kitchen images and we believe this trend will only grow in
strength during 2017. By
bringing natural materials into our home we add a connection to a lifestyle
that celebrates and embraces nature and its unique imperfections. Below are some of our favourite
examples.

Surface design that
mimics nature

The Stone Blue facia utilises the latest technology in surface
design. The textured surface of the wood grain effect makes it a great solid wood replica
with all the benefits of a laminate. This has been layered with tonal marble
and cool greys for an elegant and refined look.
By using the textured Walnut facia in the industrial style kitchen,
warmth has been added to the palette. The tactile mix of textured Walnut, embossed
tin wall tiles with textured slate lends personality to the clutter free
kitchen.
Exposing
and unifying the look

The skylight in the Oak Shaker kitchen is divided by textured
wooden beams and exposed sandstone, creating contrasts with the slick finish of
the painted plaster. What we choose to expose and hide creates an interesting
commentary for any contemporary kitchen.
Mixing materials doesn’t always require contrasting textures. The
matt doors, matt walls and semi-matt floor tiles combine the same texture but
still allow to stand out in the kitchen. The use of one grey hue ties the look
together.
